Speaker: Cynthia Rando, Founder/CEO of Sophic Synergistics.

The discussion will focus on the impact that Innovation as a buzz word has had on our culture over the last decade.  How does constant change impact humans and do we have limitations or a new type of stress we are facing in this innovation age?   Current thinking would lead you to believe that we are more innovative than ever before, but could we possible be trending towards innovation burn out? 

Cynthia Rando is the founder and CEO of Sophic Synergistics, a consulting firm that focuses on organizational strategy and the critical human factors that lead to an organization’s ability to remain competitive, efficient, and adaptable in today’s economy.   Cynthia has a Master’s in Human Factors Engineering from Clemson University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University.   Prior to Sophic Synergistics, Cynthia spent 12 years with NASA working in various capacities including: spearheading NASA’s strategic implementation of crowdsourcing and collaboration models for the agency and US government, development of NASA’s first virtual centers for Human Health and Performance and the Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation and she was lead human factors engineer for many International Space Station hardware designs flying onboard today.
